They celebrate in Ferraz the approval of the Zerolo Law against discrimination.
The approval of the Zerolo Law was celebrated at the Psoe headquarters on Ferraz Street. It was during a meeting that brought together some of the prominent figures of the socialist party, such as Beatriz Carrillo, secretary of Social Movements, Diversity and Seniors or Víctor Gutiérrez, secretary of LGTBI, who have shown themselves proud to be part of the advances in matter of Equality and human rights.
The Congressional Equality Commission approved the presentation report of the Comprehensive Law on Equal Treatment and Non-Discrimination – also known as the Zerolo Law in tribute to the LGBT politician and activist, Pedro Zerolo –, which is moving Special Data forward for processing. The bill, which would have been initially presented by the PSOE in January, managed to move forward despite the 14 votes against between the PP and VOX. For socialists, this law is a great step on the path towards a more egalitarian and tolerant society with women and the most discriminated against groups. The event in Ferraz also included the participation of party secretaries such as Víctor Gutiérrez, Hana Jalloul and Luc André Diouf , who wanted to express their pride in carrying out this revolutionary law.
